1st Aid Merit Badge Update

For those Scouts working on a first aid merit badge, you need to have the worksheet and view all resource requirements, videos and such at the Workbook link http://meritbadge.org/wiki/images/9/98/First_Aid.pdf

Staple your workbook together and write  your name on the first page.

Videos and read resource requirements linkhttp://meritbadge.org/wiki/index.php/First_Aid#Requirement_resources

Bring a homemade first aid kit that you made if you have not already done so.

You need to watch all resource requirements and read the material in order to fill out the worksheet correctly. Mr. Gallant has viewed all material and the correct answers to the questions are found in that material, using your handbook for information will not give the correct answers that are required for the merit badge.

We don’t meet for two weeks and this will give you plenty of time to work on the workbook. Start with requirement 2 since your first class scouts you earned requirement 1

Mr. Gallant will bring the CPR mannequin to the next meeting and  scouts will need to demonstrate correct procedures, hands only CPR, one person CPR, choking. Scout also needs to know the ages, depth of compression, hand placement, when to use two hands, one hand, or two fingers, you need to view the resource requirements to get this information.

We would like to have all requirements completed before the end of May. Remember you need to know the material in order to pass the badge successfully.
